“Earth Shots is a Photo of the Day contest celebrating the beauty and diversity of our planet. Everyday we feature the best photograph submitted by our visitors.”
It’s also one of the first photography websites to embed the Spotback widget in it, contributing to our Rate Everything motto.

We’ve begun installing our widgets on custom publishing platforms. Here’s one of our newly added alpha users, CyberNet Technology News, and what you can achieve with our rating tools outside the common publishing platforms such as Blogger and Wordpress.

CyberNet Technology News was started on December 4, 2005 with a goal of sharing the latest technology news with their readers who are just as passionate about technology as they are. You will find a variety of information ranging from the coolest hardware to beta software.

Our good friend, Orli Yakuel, who writes the technology blog Go2Web2 has just added the widgets. While visiting her site drop by her other project Go2Web2.0 ‘the complete web 2.0 directory’ to get a glimpse of some of the best websites around.

Another great addition is Michael Eisenberg’s blog ‘Six Kids and a Full Time Job‘. Michael’s blog is the first site to receive a fully customized rating widget.

Check out the great music blog Each Note Secure. He only installed the rating widget but you can still see the top rated and recommended stories through there.

Another addition is Web2Spot who I mentioned earlier in the reviews post.

Today we were honored by Techcrunch’s leading man, Michael Arrington, that said:
“I plan on adding this to TechCrunch as a test when the service is stable.”

Hey guys,
We’ve just upgraded our widgets and added a cool new feature worth mentioning. From now on at the end of each rating widget you can find a “Like it? Get more” link. Once you’ve clicked it the top story/recommended story/tags box pops up in regard for the specific story you’re on (or any other item you’re rating). It comes in handy when your users are looking for more recommended content and don’t really want to look for the widget box elsewhere.
